The alarm went off at 5:30 this morning. I was wide awake. I could easily kept that momentum and headed out to start the day early. But it was a tad chilly and my bed had been so nice and warm.
So, I made the logical choice. I hit snooze and went back to bed. I made that logical choice for about an hour. Each time the alarm went off, I sat up for that brief moment, thought about getting up and then remembering the joy of the comforter and the warmness of the bed and went right back to sleep.
Paul in Romans 7:15
For what I want to do, do not, but what I hate, I do
I wonder if he kept hitting the snooze because he had a really comfortable warm bed on a chilly morning.
